P.S. - Another irony. John McCain is the only candidate not squabbling. His ads have taken over this blog. They're _everywhere_!

Too funny! You write so well. ah, NASCAR - not! WHY is NASCAR considered so all-American? I don't get it. Is it the fact that people consume huge amounts of gas, while being cheered on, gladiator style, by crowds hoping to see a blood-and-guts wreck? Is it the fact that these people drive endlessly, hour after hour, in a circle, accomplishing nothing?

Not to worry about the Ice Age. If you're gone, you'll no doubt be in heaven, smiling down and laughing. Hopefully, you won't get reincarnated just in time for an Ice Age.

As posted:
Earth Hour, started by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) last year in Sydney, Australia, goes global this Saturday, as millions of people in over 200 cities worldwide power down and turn off their electricity for one hour, beginning at 8:00 p.m. local time, to voice their concern about climate change and global warming. >

Reply:

I just turned over in my bed.I feel that was a statement enought.

Meanwhile-outside, ten bikers with loud pipes, two semis gearing down, and four rednecks with glasspack truck mufflers kept me awake. I turned on WSM and found NASCAR on. I went ouside on my deck and heard two people on ATVs blowing through some field. I think it is too late to worry about global warming.

Which will start to shut down critical ocean flows and bring on another ice age. Too bad I will be long gone and not get to hear some U2 type band do a relief concert before freezing solid, as will the bikers. Justice!
