  • VintagePostcards.org: Own/developed ongoing website, writing all text, scanning, coding, etc., presenting history and the built environment of the Nipissing and Parry Sound (Canada) districts as seen in vintage postcards. Pages such as those about North Bay, Sturgeon Falls and Mattawa are used to teach history at Canadian universities including Nipissing University’s Institute for Community Studies and Oral History (ICSOH)

  • Spring 2007 Association of American Geographers meeting in San Francisco: York University (Toronto) presentation on Northern Ontario Indian tribes illustrated with our Temagami native American images

  • Supply postcard scans used to teach digital photography at the Open University in Milton-Keynes, England (Total enrollment: 180,000). Scans also used by the Ontario Heritage Trust to document historic buildings in North Bay for registry inclusion, and to illustrate North Bay architecture in the 2007 Doors Open Ontario historic preservation walking tour

  • Restored three Victorian homes and landscapes as general contractor; consulted with numerous investors, providing feasibility studies re: profitability of potential residential and commercial rehabs

  • Consultant to State of Kentucky providing environmental impact statements regarding impact of proposed road developments on fabric of historic built environment as per Federal guidelines

  • Historic preservation planner, Florida Department of State. Advisor to Architectural Review Board, City of Pensacola, FL. Grant writing, fund raising, public education, media interviews

  • Hardin County historic sites survey in conjunction with the Kentucky Heritage Council/the Hardin County Planning and Development commission, identifying sites eligible for National Register of Historic Places and Kentucky Register of Historic Places inclusion
