We received a Yahoo! message last night from our friend Sam, containing this comment on life well lived and its sometimes unexpected but glorious messiness. We’ve always liked this quote, and thought we’d share:
“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid across the finish line sideways, worn out, used up, leaking oil and shouting, ‘GERONIMO!’ ”
